We are absolutely delighted to have this original painting by Glasgow based artist John Damari. It’s not the first of his works we’ve had in the shop and I’m sure it won’t be the last.
The painting is titled ‘Moonlit Night at the Croft, Poltalloch, Argyll’ and measures 20 x 20 inches (51 x 51 cm) and is framed, under glass, at 27 x 27 inches (69 x 69 cm).
Like all works by Damari, the imagery and use of colour is both striking and eye-catching and will look superb in any contemporary room setting.
About John Damari: John takes his influences from his love of nature and the outdoors – the ruggedness and majesty of the mountains and the calmness of the sea along the coastline of Western Scotland and its islands. The strength of character of the local people in the remote settings also encourages his passion for areas of mid Argyll, the Hebridean Islands and Northumberland.
John’s trademark use of the palette knife, combined with vibrant colours, captures the feeling and atmosphere of his subject matter and inspires reaction in his viewers.
